  • How do I receive money with Visa+?


    Link your mobile number to your Visa card using Visa+. Once linked, you can receive money directly from friends and contacts by sharing only your mobile phone number with them.
  • Where do I get the money sent to me with Visa+?


    Money sent through Visa+ goes straight to the account associated with your linked Visa card — no extra steps needed.
  • Do I need to share my card details to receive money?

    No. With Visa+, your mobile number is all you need. It’s secure and linked to your Visa card during the Visa+ registration process.
  • How long does it take to receive money with Visa+?


    Transfers sent to your linked mobile number are usually received within minutes, depending on the sender’s bank.
  • Can I receive money if my number isn’t linked yet?

    No. You need to link your mobile number with your card in Visa+ settings before you can receive money.
  • Who can send me money with Visa+?

    Anyone using a participating bank, card, or wallet that supports Visa+ transfers to phone numbers can send you money. The sender does not need to be registered with Visa+.
  • Do senders need my card number or other details?

    No. Senders only need the phone number you linked to Visa+. Your card number, expiry date, and CVV are never shared.
  • How do I link or change my preferred payment method?


    Go to Visa+ settings Link phone number and choose your card or bank account as the preferred method. You can change this anytime; future transfers will be routed to your latest preference.
  • Can I unlink my phone number or temporarily stop receiving money?

    Yes. In Visa+ settings, choose Unlink or Pause receiving. While paused or unlinked, transfers to your phone number will not be delivered.
  • What happens if I change my phone number?

    Link your new number in Visa+ settings and unlink the old one. Transfers sent to your previous number won’t reach you unless it is still linked and set as preferred.
  • Will I receive international transfers?


    Yes, when the sender’s bank or wallet supports crossborder transfers via Visa+. Delivery time, FX rates, and sender fees depend on the sender’s institution.
  • Are there fees to receive money with Visa+?

    No. Any fees, if they occur, typically come on the sender’s bank side and are shown to the sender before they confirm the transfer.
  • Are there limits on how much I can receive?

    Yes. Per transaction, daily, or monthly limits may apply for security and compliance.
  • How will I know the money arrived?

    You’ll receive an inapp notification and see the credit in your transactions. If not, check that your phone number is linked and set as preferred.
  • What if a transfer goes to the wrong number?

    If the sender mistypes the number, the money may be routed to whoever has that number linked. As with any money transfer, the sender should always verify the details before confirming. With Visa+, the sender sees the recipient’s name and the initial of their surname, helping them confirm they are sending to the right person.
  • What happens when my card is replaced or renewed?

    Simply set the new card as the preferred card in Visa+ settings.
  • Is Visa+ secure?

    Yes. Visa+ uses secure routing and tokenization, so you don’t need to share card details. Linking and updates require app authentication and, if needed, additional verification.
  • Does the sender need a Visa card?

    No. Only the recipient needs a card or bank account linked to the phone number in Visa+ settings.
